When will students receive their tickets?
Students can pick up their tickets after they have been cleared for graduation during senior checkout. Students must be participating in graduation, have no outstanding fees or fines, and have successfully completed their Senior Culminating Project to pick up tickets.
Who can pick up graduation tickets?
Students must pick up their own graduation tickets. Friends or family members may not, under any circumstance, pick up tickets on a student’s behalf.
How long is the graduation ceremony?
The graduation ceremony will last approximately 2 hours. The ceremony begins at 7:00 pm and will end at approximately 9:00.
Will students be bussed to ShoWare Center in Kent?
No. Students must arrange their own transportation to the ceremony. Most students travel with family members or carpool with friends.
Why do students need to be at ShoWare 2 hours before the ceremony?
Students will go through security, check in with MSHS staff, perform a walk-thru of the ceremony, take a class photo, and line up. We want to give students enough time to arrive safely and complete all pre-ceremony activities.
What time can parents enter ShoWare?
Doors will open at 6:00 pm; keep in mind there is a security check and lines may be long. Please plan accordingly.
Is there reserved seating at ShoWare?
No, seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. There is an abundance of seating for ADA needs; ushers can assist you in locating those seats as needed.
Is the Graduation Ceremony going to be Livestreamed?
Yes, we will have a link to the Livestream available on our Graduation Event Information page in June.
How do we make graduation day less stressful for our family?
One suggestion is to plan to arrive early and enjoy shopping or dining at nearby Kent Station. Also, be sure to plan plenty of time to enter the venue due to security checkpoints, and review all bag policy rules.
Where can we take photos of our graduates after the ceremony?
Please note that after the graduation ceremony, all graduates and guests exit the front entrance of the Arena to the outdoor plaza. Once you exit, there is no re-entry for guests, and grads may only re-enter with cap and gown in order to change for Grad Night. With this in mind, we would like to encourage you to photograph your grads, friends and family prior to graduation. We recognize what a special day this is for our students, and we hope you will have an opportunity to photograph your graduates during the day in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley. We will have professional photographers on site for graduation, and those photographs will be available for purchase in June.
Where do students board buses for Grad Night?
Students will meet Grad Night Committee members and board buses at ShoWare after the graduation ceremony. Check-in time is tentatively set for 9:30 pm.
What time does Grad Night end?
Buses will return students to the high school at approximately 6:00 am to be picked up by friends or family members. We advise strongly against allowing students to drive themselves home after an all-nighter.
Where can I find Grad Night information?
